Bachelor of IT (Fundamental Computer Science and IT)

Objectives : The necessity of creating this programme is based on the rapid development of scientific and practical efforts devoted to the design of various software (SW). Despite the broad variety of subject areas and SW design technologies used, general tendencies of branch development show that, in addition to highly qualified developers, successful realization of SW design projects demands personnel qualified to manage the corresponding project groups.

These are project managers, architects of various types of programming technologies, analytics, and business analytics. The developers themselves are now educated at many professional educational institutions, while the managing staff are only educated at few universities, because it constitutes an extra volume of professional knowledge that often exceeds the borders of current Bachelor’s programmes.

Bachelor of Linguistics

Objectives : The objective of the programme is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical education for specialists in the field of translation and interpreting. Education of such specialists is relevant to the increased requirements for the implementation of intercultural communication in different spheres of social, political and academic life. The development and implementation of this programme offers a chance for a more task-oriented education of professionals, and for closer and more conscious contact between the university and our city’s translation companies.
