Objectives:The program is dedicated to in-depth study of materials structure, materials properties, materials fabrication and characterization. The course consists of several important disciplines, like crystallography, thermodynamics of materials, materials characterization, etc. The program focuses on application of high energy techniques for fabrication of advanced materials for biomedical, aerospace and other hi-tech applications. All lectures are given in English, however, a three-semester course of Russian language is provided for foreign students. The master’s thesis is typically devoted to applied materials science. It consists of synthesis of new materials and characterization of its structure and properties. A comfortable dormitory located near the academic facilities is provided for foreign students.
