Oil and Gas Management
Objectives The aim of the MEP «Oil and Gas Management» is to train highly qualified analysts and decision-makers, who are ready to work effectively for the needs of future oil and gas industry both in regional and in global context and who are able to meet challenges the industry face today and will face tomorrow. Along with specific design the MEP is tailored to meet all the requirements of the state educational standard in the field «Management».

Experimental geochemistry and design of crystalline materials»
Objectives The specialists required in this field should combine profound skills in physical chemistry, crystal growth theory and be familiar with methods of design of materials and investigation of their properties. We invite you to apply to the “Design of Crystalline Materials and Experimental Geochemistry” Master program proposed by the Department of Geology and Geophysics of NSU to study the fascinating world of crystal growth in Nature and laboratory.

Quantum optics and Nanosciences
Objectives Novosibirsk is a leading research center in quantum technologies, semiconductor physics, optics, and laser technology. The master program “Quantum optics and nanoscience” provides opportunities to perform a research project with leading Russian research teams in experimental or theoretical physics, and to learn from the lectures given by recognized experts in the field. A publication in the peer-review international scientific journals is expected after the end of the project. We believe that this is a good starting point for research career in one the most rapidly developing fields.

•    Educational diploma (certificate or some analogous document) on programme of level of a bachelor degree in the field of physics. This programme must include general physics course with elements of classical electrodynamics and physics of atoms and molecules, standard course in quantum mechanics. It must also include mathematical courses with basic elements of mathematical analysis (real and complex) and linear algebra.
•    For both foreign students and graduates of the Russian higher education institutions (including bachelor graduates of NRU NSU)
•    Desirable knowledge of English language: TOEFL Internet based equivalent score 50–70 (intermediate or upper intermediate). 
•    Some knowledge of Russian language for scientific and household communication is also useful but not necessary.
•    No entry exams. Motivation letter is welcome.

Objectives The basic aim of the Master's program«International and Russian Business Law» is to train highly qualified lawyers in international and Russian business law, who are ready to work effectively for the needs of business companies, law firms, NGO and governmental structures in both regional and global context and who are able to make and implement the rules of international and Russian business law as well as to research legal issues on doing business in Russia and throughout the world. Along with specific design the Master’s English Program is tailored to meet all the requirements of the state educational standard in the field «Jurisprudence». The Master's program «International and Russian Business Law» provides a wide range of disciplines, including corporate law, investment law, business contracts, competition law, energy law, tax law, intellectual property law, transnational law, the settlement of business legal disputes, etc. It also implies making and defending a master's dissertation in sphere of international and Russian business law.

Russia and countries of the East: international relations and cultural interaction
Objectives The programs are aimed at training and developing research skills in a number of areas of Modern East Asian Studies (MEAS), and in their applications. At the end of the studies, students are awarded a Master Degree from Novosibirsk State University, with an approval by the Russian Ministry of Science and Education

Admission
A graduate applicant is a person who already has graduated with the first degree, usually a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, from a higher education institution. Your Bachelor's degree should be in the same field of study you apply for – or closely related to it. The International Master's Programs may accept also those students who are in their last term or semester of their Bachelor's studies can apply.
After completing graduate courses students are awarded by the academic degree Master’s in History. 
A good knowledge of English and one of East Asian languages (Korean, Japanese or Chinese) is required for the admission to a program of study. You need to prove your English language skills as follows:
TOEFL Test: 
79/80 points (on the internet-based test)
and/or
IELTS: 6.0 points or 
JLPT: 3 level or
TOPIK: 3 level or 
HSK: 3 level 
Those who have basic level of Russian language may be given privilege.
